General conduct

The instructor shall behave within the code of conduct. He shall be courteous & polite. He shall be neet & tidy in appearance, punctual for lessons and behave in a professional manner at all times. To act within the law, the instructor and any pupils are prohibited from smoking inside the car at any time.

Payments

Any lessons of 1, 1 and a half or 2 hours, must be paid in full by the end of each lesson unless alternative arrangements have been previously agreed with the instructor.

If block booking payments are to be made, any such payment must be made in full before the first lesson that money represents starts, unless alternative arrangements have been agreed with the instructor.

The Car

The instructors car shall be kept clean and tidy at all times. It will be well maintained and kept in good working order. It will be fitted with Duel Controls and properly insured for its intended use.

A no smoking sign and the instructors ADI badge will always be clearly displayed.

Cancellations

Any cancellations shall be made at least 24 hours before the lesson is due to start, allowing time for alternative lessons to be arranged to replace the cancelled lesson time. If late cancellations occur, the full fee for the lesson may be charged. The instructor cannot be held responsible for any financial loss due to any cancellations that are made for any reason. The instructor reserves the right to postpone any lesson/s if in the opinion of the instructor, weather or road conditions are deemed dangerous or the pupil is deemed unfit to drive.

If any driving test is cancelled by the test centre for which they have control or responsability, a compensation form should be issued in order for financial compensation can be claimed. If any test is cancelled which the test centre has no control or responsability(acts of god ) snow, fog, etc: no compensation can be claimed, but lesson fees may still be charged.

Punctuallity

If the instructor arrives late for the arranged lesson, the full lesson time will be given. If the pupil arrives late for the lesson the instructor will try to give the full amount of time arranged. If this is not possible the loss of lesson time will be incurred with no loss of fee to the instructor.
